Global Intercultural Exchange Co., Ltd. (GIE) with Student American International (SAI), has given a special opportunity for Thai Students who are interested to enter a placement test and become exchanged students to study abroad for a year.
You now have the chance to live with an American host family and study at a local high school for one full academic year. Share culture, gain experience, make new friends and most importantly, strengthen your English skills. This is a great opportunity to diversify oneself and live independently for one full year. We are working closely with Student America International (SAI) to ensure the great quality and safety of your stay in America. Opportunity is knocking! |

Our Objectives
• To give opportunities to Thai students to learn how to live independent lives and Experience the
American Culture.
• To practice and further develop their skill in English and give opportunities for students to obtain
a great life experience. |

GIE has set certain standards on our Academic Programs.
Their qualifications should reach the following
• Applicants should be between 14 to18 years old (must not be less than 15 or over 18 years old
before depart date)
• Studying in Middle school or High school
• Applicants must also have an average to good English skill and an English G.P.A. of 2.00 or higher.
• Must have good behavior, responsible and has the ability to adapt to different environments and
cultures.

In return, participants in GIE’s Academic Year Program are as follows
• Live and interact with volunteer Host families and immerse in their culture and language for
10 months (2 Terms) or 5 months (1 Term)
• Participate in an orientation for 3 days and 2 nights further enhancing the Academic year experience.
• During the length of the program, a Local Coordinator to take good care and assist the students
24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |

Additional Requirements for application
• The latest copy of your Transcript dating 3 years including the current school year.
• 2 copies (1.5x 2 inch) picture, with white background
• Application fee of 200 baht. (Non-Refundable) |

Expense for the Exchange student/ Academic Term program
• Expenses would vary depending on the length of stay and type of program the student
would like to have.
• The student’s daily allowance should also be calculated separately. |
